Classic: Finely and tightly woven with a natural linen look. A stiff, sturdy fabric. Highly shape-retaining with a snug fit. Weight: 290 g/m². Made from 100% polyester.
Velvet: Soft fabric with a subtle sheen. Luxurious appearance, highly resistant to cat and dog claws, and easy to maintain.
Weight: 227 g/m². Made from polyester.
Chenille: Flat-woven with a subtle nap, warm and soft. Highly resistant to cat and dog claws. Weight: 280 g/m². Made from polyester.
Corduroy: Soft ribbed fabric with a modern look and a subtle nap. Weight: 300 g/m². Made from polyester.
Royal Bouclé: Unique looped texture for a playful, elegant look. Weight: 300 g/m². Made from polyester.
Imperia: Elegant fabric with a soft, subtle texture and a slight nap. Weight: 300 g/m². Made from polyester.
All fabrics are fully machine washable. The Classic, Velvet, Chenille, Corduroy and Royal Bouclé collections have been successfully tested to 50,000 Martindale (a measure of abrasion resistance; 50,000 indicates very intensive residential use). The Imperia collection has been tested to 12,000 Martindale (suitable for normal use, not for very intensive use).
Shipping
Shipping is free from €100 to all EU countries (except Cyprus) and the United Kingdom, and from €300 to Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, the United States, Canada and Australia. Shipping to the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Ceuta and Melilla costs €49. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. We send shipping information by email after the order has been shipped. The order can be tracked via track & trace.
Delivery time
All sofa covers are carefully handmade in our workshop after we have received the order. We expect to deliver the order within 4 to 6 weeks.
For our sofa covers, there is a legal cooling-off period of 14 days after receipt to cancel the purchase and register the return.
Because our sofa covers are made to order, 30% of the purchase price may be withheld as compensation for restocking and customization costs. You can read more information on the returns page.

Easy attachment
All covers in the set are easy to attach. The cushion covers close easily with zippers and Velcro, similar to the original IKEA covers. This way, your Mårenäs sofa gets a fresh, new look in no time.

Do you only need covers for a specific part of your sofa? At Norsemaison, we also make custom individual covers, for example, just for the seat cushions or back cushions. Feel free to contact us so we can help you find a solution that perfectly matches your needs.

Note that the covers should not be washed hot. We recommend washing them at 30°C / 86°F to preserve the quality and color of the fabric.
The covers can not be dried in the dryer. Preferably let them air dry for the best result and longer lifespan.

Do you deliver worldwide?
Yes, we deliver worldwide and the available countries can be selected on the checkout page. There are only a few countries we currently do not ship to.
Can I order swatches?
Yes, definitely! You can order 7 swatches from us at a time.
What if there is something wrong with my order?
We offer a two-year warranty on all products. The warranty covers the fit and defects of sofa covers. For our curtains, we provide a 'Perfect-fit' warranty. This allows you to have the curtains shortened or narrowed by a local upholsterer/tailor. We reimburse 75% of the alteration costs, up to a maximum of €100.
Can I pay afterwards?
You can pay with Klarna, which gives you the flexibility to pay after you have received your order. You can choose to pay the amount in one go or in three installments. Availability depends on the country and is subject to Klarna's terms and conditions.
Are the colors and materials on the website exactly the same as in real life?
Although the images of our fabrics and swatches are accurate, the photos of the sofa covers are for reference only, and slight color variations may occur due to screen settings or the complexity of textile production. Since minor differences between a swatch and the final product can never be completely ruled out, we always recommend ordering a swatch first if in doubt, so you can physically assess the material.
