IKEA Sofa Covers
Yes, definitely! You can order 7 swatches at a time from us. We charge a small fee for packaging and shipping. We highly recommend ordering swatches before you order a cover. This allows you to assess the color, texture, and feel of the material in your own home environment to ensure it meets your expectations. You can find the swatches here.
Our covers are not IKEA products. The covers are specially made to fit seamlessly on popular IKEA furniture.
We follow the dimensions of current IKEA sofas. Some IKEA sofas have been updated over the years (for example, the Vimle, pre-2021 versus post-2021 versions). We rely on the model and version information you provide to ensure a good fit. Please check the age of the sofa and the specific model configuration when ordering. If in doubt, send us a photo or the original purchase date before placing your order.
Yes, the furniture covers can be washed in the washing machine. Make sure the covers are not washed at a high temperature. We recommend washing at 30 degrees. You cannot put the covers in the dryer. If you want to iron the covers, do so at a low temperature such as 110°C.
Covers from Norsemaison are made especially for IKEA sofas. Our fabric collections Classic, Velvet, Corduroy, Chenille, and Bouclé are made of polyester. Polyester is a strong material that, compared to cotton, does not easily fade in the sun. Since no fabric is completely UV-resistant, we recommend reducing exposure to UV light, for example by closing the curtains on sunny days.
Yes, for every sofa listed on our website, we can make a cover for one or more parts. For example, just a cover for the back cushion, armrest, or seat cushion. You can contact us by email for this.
If the order has not yet been fully processed for production, we may still be able to make changes. Please contact us immediately with the details of what you want to add. We will check the status of the order and advise you on how to proceed with payment for the additional components.
The covers in the Outlet are new but may be surplus stock or covers that have been returned. They are always undamaged and come with the same high-quality guarantee as our regular collection, but Outlet items have different return conditions. Returns must be reported to customer service within 14 days of receiving the order and are eligible for a full refund if the covers are in new condition and in their original packaging.
Yes, our Loose Fit covers are made extra long and fall just above the floor for a relaxed, flowing look. This also applies to the pouf covers.
Curtains
No worries! Thanks to our Perfect-fit guarantee, you can have the curtains shortened or narrowed by a local upholsterer/tailor. We reimburse 75% of the alteration costs, up to a maximum of €100. This is possible once per order and upon presentation of a valid receipt or invoice from the upholsterer/tailor.
This guarantee only applies to making the curtains smaller, not to lengthening or widening them.
Order & Returns
It is possible to pay for the order with Klarna. This means you only need to pay after you have received the order. This payment method is available for customers located in the following countries: Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Norway. When placing the order, Klarna will perform a credit check to see if you qualify for paying afterwards. It is also possible to pay in installments with Klarna. Paying in installments is available for customers located in: Netherlands, United Kingdom (UK), Germany, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway.
If you have used a payment method like Klarna, the status "pending" may indicate that payment with Klarna will be activated once the order is completed and shipped. From that moment, our system sends a signal to Klarna to activate the payment. If you have any doubts, you can contact us. We can check whether the payment has been successfully received and that the production of the order is on schedule.

We offer a two-year warranty on all products. The warranty covers the fit and defects.
A defect means that the cover has been damaged due to a manufacturing fault. Damage caused by reckless use or sharp objects, for example, is not covered by the warranty.
If you have received an order and the cover does not fit the sofa properly, please contact us via the contact page. We guarantee that the covers have a good fit on IKEA sofas. In that case, the warranty applies and we will make new covers that fit properly. However, since all products are handmade, we allow an acceptable deviation margin of 1 to 2 cm. If the cover does not fit the sofa well and after inspection it turns out that the cover has the same size as an original IKEA cover, the fit warranty does not apply. Please note that IKEA sofa cushions can lose their shape over time. As a result, the covers may not fit as snugly as with cushions in good condition. This is not covered by the fit warranty.

As soon as we have received and checked your return package, we will send you a confirmation. The refund will be processed within 7 to 14 working days after this confirmation.
We apologize for the inconvenience! Please send us a photo of the received package along with a brief explanation. We will then ensure that the correct or missing part is sent to you free of charge and with the highest priority as soon as possible.
Shipping & Delivery Time
Once your cover is ready for shipment, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to the carrier’s website (for example, DHL or DPD). You can use this to track the current status of your package. This is the link to the track and trace page on our website.
Production generally takes 4–6 weeks from the moment the order is confirmed. Once production is complete, we will send you a shipping notification with tracking details. The total delivery time will be communicated in the order confirmation.
There may be periods when no new status updates are visible. This is because the order is being shipped internationally and the package is on its way to the next sorting center of the carrier. For example, it may be waiting to depart from an airport or already in transit by air. The tracking will only be updated once the package has been scanned at a DPD sorting center near the delivery address.
Once the package has reached the carrier's sorting center in the delivery region, the tracking will be updated. If the delivery is made with DPD, you will usually receive a text message or email from DPD with the delivery date and time window. You can track your shipment on this page.

Are the colors and materials on the website exactly the same as in real life?
Although the images of our fabrics and swatches are accurate, the photos of the sofa covers are for reference only, and slight color variations may occur due to screen settings or the complexity of textile production. Since minor differences between a swatch and the final product can never be completely ruled out, we always recommend ordering a swatch first if in doubt, so you can physically assess the material.
