Can I order swatches?
Yes, you can! You can order 5 swatches from us at a time. We charge 2 euros for packaging and shipping. You can find the swatches here.
Are the covers IKEA products?
Our covers are not IKEA products. They have been specifically designed to fit seamlessly on popular IKEA furniture.
Can the furniture covers be machine washed?
Yes, the covers can be washed in the washing machine. Please note that the covers should not be washed hot. We recommend washing them at 30 degrees. You can not put them in the dryer. If you want to iron the covers, please do so at a low temperature like 110°C.
What are the covers made of?
Covers from Norsemaison are made especially for IKEA sofas. Our Velvet and Classic covers are made of polyester. Polyester is a strong material which, compared to cotton, does not easily fade in the sun. The corduroy covers are made of 98% polyester and 2% cotton.
Do you also make covers for just one or more parts of the sofa instead of the entire sofa cover?
Yes, for every sofa on our website we can make a cover for one or more parts. For example just a cover for the back cushion, armrest or seat cushion. Please contact us by e-mail.
Ordering & Returns
Can I pay afterwards?
It is possible for Dutch and Belgian customers to pay the order with Afterpay. 3 weeks after ordering, the customer receives a request to pay. While placing the order, Afterpay will perform a credit check to verify the customer's eligibility to pay with Afterpay. It is also possible for Dutch customers to pay in three installments with in3. The first payment takes place at the time of ordering. The second payment takes place after 30 days. The third payment takes place after 60 days.
Can I return my order?
Yes, returns are possible. Please check our returns page.
What if something is wrong with my order?
We offer a one-year warranty on all products. The warranty covers fit and defects.
A defect means that the cover is broken as a result of a production error. Defects caused by e.g. reckless use or sharp objects are not covered by the warranty. Have you received an order and the cover does not fit properly on the sofa? Please contact us via the contact page. We guarantee that the covers will fit the IKEA sofas properly. If this is the case, we will issue a warranty and make new covers that do fit. However, because all products are hand-made, we maintain an acceptable deviation margin of 1 to 2 cm. If the cushion does not fit properly on the sofa, and after inspection it is the same size as an original IKEA cushion, the fit guarantee does not apply. Please note that cushions on IKEA sofas may lose their shape over time. This means that the cushions may not fit tightly like cushions in good condition. This is not covered by the fit guarantee.
